Puppy jumpstart package

Have a new puppy and feel overwhelmed about where to start? I’ll come to you and help you get through those first weeks that are so fun, but so incredibly tiresome! Your puppy’s brain is exceptionally malleable at this stage of life. They soak everything up like a sponge, both the good and the bad! So the earlier you get a jumpstart on training, the faster we can start forming good habits so you can build a strong and fulfilling relationship between you and your puppy. And a strong and healthy bond means a dog who will look to you in the face of a chaotic and distracting world! We’ll work on all the tools and skills you’ll need to help your little ball of fluff grow into a polite and well-mannered adult dog. All of the sessions will take place in your own home so we don’t need to worry about vaccination schedules.

We’ll address all common puppy issues such as:

  • Potty training

  • Crate training

  • Mouthing

  • Chewing

  • Jumping

  • Establishing a routine

  • Household management

  • Breed specific issues (retrievers & mouthiness, herding breeds & chasing, etc.)

  • Proper puppy socialization (and no, this doesn’t just mean greeting dogs and people! Creating a well-balanced and confident pup takes a lot more effort than just saying hi to dogs! But don’t worry, we’ll cover all the details.)

Puppies have a very critical socialization window that starts to close around 14 weeks of age, so it’s imperative that you get started with them early. We really want to take advantage of this window while we can! This program is designed for young puppies under 4 months old. Puppies older than 16 weeks can partake in our standard private sessions found here.

Package price: $495*

*10% off package price if first lesson is completed before puppy is 10 weeks old. Be sure to plan ahead, I’m usually booking about 2-4 weeks out!

Puppy Jumpstart Package includes:

  • 4 weekly sessions (90 minutes for the first session, one hour for the follow-ups)

  • An indoor dragline

  • A 20’ biothane long line to give your puppy freedom to explore safely

  • Handouts and checklists for keeping track of progress

  • Email follow-ups and support between sessions

A fee may apply for travel outside of a 20 min or 10 mile radius from my home in Poulsbo
